Travelling by Car

From Brisbane

• Follow the M1 south from the city to exit 35.
• Follow the signs to Beenleigh Beaudesert Rd and travel along this road for approx 22km. 
• At the end of the road there is a “T” intersection.  Turn left onto Tamborine Mountain Rd.  
• Travel approx 6.5km along this road until the “Y” intersection with Cedar Creek Falls Rd.
• Turn left into Cedar Creek Falls Rd and immediately right into Thunderbird Park which is well signed.
• Continue in Thunderbird Park and turn left to the car park.  We are adjacent to the car park and highly visible once there.

From Gold Coast

• Follow the M1 north to Exit 57 then turn left onto the Old Pacific Hwy. 
• At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Tamborine Oxenford Rd. 
• Travel along Tamborine Oxenford Rd for approx 16km until you come to a giant fig tree in a roundabout. 
• At the roundabout turn right onto Long Rd (Gallery Walk) and travel to the next roundabout.
• At the roundabout turn right onto Eagle Heights Rd.
• Travel along Eagle Heights Rd for approx 1.5km to the “T” intersection.
• Turn right and follow the road down the mountain for about 5km.
• Turn right at the “Y” intersection into Cedar Creek Falls Rd and immediately right into Thunderbird Park which is well signed.
• Continue in Thunderbird Park and turn left to the car park.  We are adjacent to the car park and highly visible once there.

Travelling by Bus

Tamborine Mountain Tours runs a daily bus service from the Gold Coast to Tamborine Mountain. The bus timetable is as follows:

From Tamborine Mountain to the Gold Coast
2.00pm      Visitor Information Centre on Gallery Walk
3.45pm      Visitor Information Centre on Gallery Walk
