Tamborine Mountain Trail Rides is located in the mountain resort of Cedar Creek Lodges at Thunderbird Park in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland.  Only an hours drive from Brisbane and 45 minutes from the Gold Coast, Thunderbird Park is famous for its Thunder Egg Mine, a deposit of amazing geological rock formations called Thunder Eggs. 

A range of accommodation is available from camping and caravaning through to the luxury Creek Lodges complete with spa and wood fire.  Bunk house style accommodation is available for school groups. The park boasts a licensed a-la-carte restaurant in a beautiful rainforest setting.  Dine in the company of beautiful lorikeets, king parrots and our resident peacock, Honky.    The bar and coffee shop are open every day with drinks and ice creams available for the children.

There are numerous lawned areas for picnicking and the rock pools of Cedar Creek are perfect for a dip in the warmer months.  Entry to Thunderbird Park is free and all activites are within walking distance of the carpark and accommodation.
